INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE OF SHOES

INFORMATION FOR CONSUMERS

Please carefully review the rules regarding complaints, maintenance, seller's liability, and prudent purchase of goods. If the purchased item has a physical or legal defect, the buyer should submit the goods for complaint to the headquarters of any retail store selling within the country, where it will be accepted for consideration in accordance with the applicable laws and the Procedure applied by the seller, available at the commercial establishment. Goods submitted for complaint should be dry, clean, and free of stains. The seller is released from liability under warranty if the buyer knew about the defect at the time of concluding the contract. If the sold item has a defect, the buyer may demand a price reduction or withdraw from the contract, unless the seller promptly and without undue inconvenience to the buyer replaces the defective item with one free from defects or removes the defect. Instead of the solution proposed by the seller, the consumer may demand the replacement of the item free from defects or instead of replacing the item, demand the removal of the defect, unless bringing the item into conformity with the contract in a way chosen by the buyer is impossible or would require excessive costs compared to the method proposed by the seller. When assessing the excessiveness of costs, the value of the defect-free item, the type and significance of the identified defect, and the inconveniences to which the buyer would be exposed by another way of satisfaction are taken into account. The reduced price should remain in such proportion to the price resulting from the contract, in which the value of the defective item remains to the value of the item without defects. The buyer cannot withdraw from the contract if the defect of the goods is insignificant. In disputes, the consumer may contact the Consumer Ombudsman or the State Trade Inspection Authority.

THE SELLER IS NOT LIABLE FOR:

  • natural wear and tear of the goods,

  • mechanical damages,

  • abrasions, scuffs,

  • improper size fitting and comfort,

  • damages resulting from lack of proper maintenance and improper use,

  • self-performed repairs, damages caused by washing the goods.

RULES FOR SHOE USAGE:

  1. Shoes should be unlaced when putting them on and taking them off,

  2. Shoes should be put on using a shoe horn to avoid creasing and tearing of the uppers,

  3. Avoid wetting or sweating the shoes, as it deteriorates their appearance and properties. Even properly maintained shoes

  4. may get wet during rain or melting snow. Wetting is considered damage caused by the user's fault. If the shoes get wet, they should be dried at room temperature away from a heat source,

  5. Shoes without lining or with natural dyed lining may cause staining,

  6. Replacement of worn out uppers and laces as well as care for the inside of the shoes (replacement of insoles) is the user's responsibility,

  7. Shoes should be used according to their purpose, e.g., indoor shoes for use in enclosed spaces or sports shoes for playing on a field or in a gym,

  8. Leather heels, stacked in a leather coating, should be maintained in the same way as the upper part of the shoes.

MAINTENANCE METHOD:

Like any natural material, leather may not retain the same color and structure across its entire surface. Any differences arise from the non-uniformity of the leather.

UPPER - GRAIN LEATHER

Stains should be removed with a damp sponge or cloth. Leave the cleaned item to dry at room temperature. After completely drying, apply a small amount of paste or cream specially designed for the given material and spread it over the entire surface. After drying, polish with a soft cloth. It is important to use paste waxes with caution, as they can damage the outer material.

UPPER - NUBUCK, SUEDE

Stains should be removed with a special rubber brush or one with mixed bristles intended for this purpose. To revive the color, apply a special aerosol colorizing agent to the shoes, and to protect autumn-winter shoes from soaking, apply an aerosol impregnating agent. Under no circumstances should pastes or creams be used! Grease stains cannot be removed.

UPPER - PULL-UP CRAZY HORSE (leather with cracked structure)

Stains should be wiped with a damp cloth or sponge. After drying at room temperature, apply a nourishing spray.

UPPER - PATENT LEATHER, SYNTHETIC MATERIALS

Stains should be wiped with a cloth or sponge moistened with water, then dried at room temperature. After drying, apply colorless cream or aerosol agents for synthetic leathers.

UPPER - TEXTILE MATERIAL

Stains should be cleaned only with a sponge dampened with a solution of mild detergents.

WATERPROOF FOOTWEAR

Footwear with a waterproof membrane should be cleaned with a moistened cloth. After drying, apply a preservative spray or wax designed for materials with a waterproof membrane and suitable types of leather. The outer material may slightly change its shade, which is not considered a defect.

SOLE - LEATHER

Stains should be wiped with a damp cloth, and after drying, apply colorless shoe paste to the edge of the sole of the heel, then polish. Avoid soaking, which causes the sole to delaminate and seams to weaken. In case of soaking, dry the shoes at room temperature. To prevent excessive wear of the sole, the user should divide the shoes at their own expense.

SOLE - THERMOPLASTIC RUBBER WITH LEATHER ELEMENTS

Stains should be wiped with a damp cloth. With this type of footwear, it is especially important to avoid getting them wet. If they get wet, dry the shoes at room temperature.

The safest way to clean is with a damp cloth or a soft-bristled brush using warm water and soap. Avoid strong detergents that may wash out the color or distort the texture of the material.
Remember not to wash shoes in the washing machine - this may cause the sole to detach, weaken the seams, or simply destroy the material.
